True to my motto "Es gibt nichts Gutes, außer man tut es" (if nothing good is done, nothing good can happen) I fully support the initiative “RedPaw – cancer research for pets”. Austria can resort to excellent resources and technical establishments in the field of cancer research. We must use this chance. It will be in our power to help countless cancer patients once clinical studies become increasingly available to us. New insights will benefit humans as well as animals and therefore have the potential to save lives.
