I am a great animal friend. This is why improving the therapeutic options available is of great importance to me. Up to date, humans have been the ones to benefit from basic research performed with animals in a rather one-sided manner. This common practice should and can be altered to serve animals as well. The cooperation between human and veterinary medicine enables us to investigate and develop therapeutic agents specifically for clinical use in animals and humans together.
