From September 5th- 6th, 2009 the 11th Action Days for Animal Welfare took place in Vienna. The location, the Schönbrunn Zoological Gardens, was as well quite unique as famous. RedPaw was represented both days in cooperation with the Austrian Kennel Club and Royal Canin.

2009 the Austrian Kennel Club (ÖKV) is celebrating its 100 years's anniversary. On this occasion the so called Centennial Show took place from August 21st until August 23rd, 2009 in Wels, Upper Austria. This event was not only a mile stone in matters of dog entries (10.000 dogs within only three days) but also in matters of international media interest. Ms. Katja Wolf, Press Relation Officer of the Austrian Kennel Club and member of the RedPaw Executive Board Club was very happy to welcome the President of the Fédération Cynologique Internationale (FCI) Mr. Hans Müller as well as the President of the Austrian Kennel Club Mr. Michael Kreiner in the International Press Lounge. The significance of "RedPaw" - cancer research for pets" was a major and important topic of discussion.

New Executive Board by constitutional meeting dated July 3rd, 2009.

On May 17, 2009, the OERV Frauental organized  the First August Wachulka Memorial Tournament. Instead of  awarding "Führerpreise"  the  OERV supported the RotePfote with a donation. Thank you very much for this great support!
