The Society RotePfote (RedPaw) - cancer research for animals

is a cooperation between the Medical University Vienna and the Veterinary University Vienna. The aim of the society is exchange, joint research and development of modern cancer therapies improving the life of animals as well as humans suffering from cancer.

(20.10.2009) The interst in the Comparative Medicine Seminar  "Papillomavirus vaccines for human and horses" with Prof. Dr. Reinhard Kirnbauer enormous . We would like to thank Prof. Kirnbauer for his remarkable speech.

15.159,- Euro for Red Pawn.

In the course of the event WIENERIN Award 2009 taking place on March 19th, 2009 in the City Hall of Viennna  a cheque with the amount of 15.159,- Euro was handed over  to Prof. Erika Jensen-Jarolim in order to support  Red Paw cancer research for animals. This award is granted once a year to outstanding women. Prof. Jensen- Jarolim was the prize winner 2008 for her research in AllergoOncology. The magazine WIENERIN collected one year for the charity purpose of  RedPaw . We like to express our thankfulness!
